American author William Burroughs wrote: "Truth is used to vitalize a statement rather than devitalize it. Truth implies more than a simple statement of fact." In today’s litigious environment, truth is a most valuable commodity. Knowing the facts does not suffice; those facts must add up to the truth. In the technical worlds of crime scene investigations and traffic accident cases, using the facts to learn the truth is the job of a forensic consultant. At Knox & Associates, helping you learn the truth from the facts is our mission. At Knox & Associates, we bring truth to light.

During my years as a police officer, I have sat on the witness stand many times and told the story of what really happened—the truth—even when it meant damaging my own case. Why? Because honesty builds a positive reputation, and in my business reputation is everything. If I cannot be trusted, my testimony means nothing. I am proud to know that, even by criminal defense attorneys, my testimony is respected. Now I am prepared to bring that same level of honesty, integrity, and respect into the realm of civil litigation.

I have dedicated the majority of my career to specializing in crime scene investigations and traffic investigation and enforcement; as I endeavor into the world of private forensic consulting, I seek to bring that same level of dedication and expertise to serve justice for those who indeed need my help. The career is mine, but the good that I do is for those I serve.

At Knox & Associates, we believe in being on the cutting edge of the field, always striving for a unique perspective. I am rarely satisfied with the status quo, opting instead to search for answers which lead to new questions which lead to new answers. Things are often not what they seem, and it is my job to dig beyond appearances and find the information that makes a difference. That is the mission at Knox & Associates.
