During my years as a police officer, I have sat on the witness stand many times and told the story of what really happened—the truth—even when it meant damaging my own case. Why? Because honesty builds a positive reputation, and in my business reputation is everything. If I cannot be trusted, my testimony means nothing. I am proud to know that, even by criminal defense attorneys, my testimony is respected.
