Knox & Associates can analyze equivocal death scenes to determine the mannder of death.
An equivocal death investigation is one in which the manner of death is unknown. In other words, it may be a homicide or a suicide, a suicide or an accident, or some other combination of possibilites. Manner of death is a legal classification that is based on the circumstances surrouding the death. It is different than the cause of death, which is the medical reason why the person deceased. There are five possible classifications for manner of death:
Equivocal death cases are evaluated using a method known as the differential diagnosis of death which is a process in which all possible manners of death are evaluated and eliminated until only one possible manner of death is left and cannot be eliminated.
The experts at Knox & Associates can analyze a death scene and provide valuable information as to the manner of death and the circumstances surrounding that death.

London's infamous "Jack the Ripper" muders that took place in 1888 are perhaps the most well-known cold cases in history.
Knox & Associates can evaluate unsolved death cases to determine if new analysis or forensic techniques could help bring closure to the case. Even cases that are decades old can be evaluated using the same techniques that we would use on a recent death case. If sufficient documenation of the original scene exists, we can perform a full crime scene reconstruction of virtually any case no matter how long ago it occurred.
