Knox & Associates president and chief forensic consultant Michael A. Knox testified in the trial of Rasheem Dubose, Terrell Dubose, and Tajuane Dubose, three brothers accused of murdering eight-year-old Dreshawna Davis. One evening in July 2006, 29 shots were fired from three different weapons into the home in which the little girl had been sitting on her bed watching The Cat in the Hat. Five shots ripped through her bedroom wall, on of which struck and killed her. Testifying as an expert in crime scene reconstruction, Mr. Knox walked the jury through the path of each of the 29 shots that he meticulously traced showing the approximate area from which each shot was fired. Mr. Knox also determined which of the shots actually struck Dreshawna and was able to pinpoint the location of the shooter.
